Prevention and Early Intervention of Eating Concerns
“Health center visits for students with new and previously well-managed eating concerns have risen significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic. One can assume that isolation and lack of control surrounding this globally challenging time are contributing factors. This presentation will outline ways school can proactively prevent as well as respond to such eating concerns through appropriate screening, early intervention and a strong team approach to help students and families suffering with these challenging diagnoses.
