Boarding Schools are very different from ‘typical firms’ and have specific characteristics that deviate from what most people think as ‘rational’ decision making and planning in the for-profit environment. This presentation will describe ways in which boarding schools are like ‘typical firms’ and, more importantly, highlight and identify the ways in which we are completely different.
