Becoming Whole: Integrating Wellbeing As Core Curriculum
We offer a roadmap for how Pomfret reframed its Religion department as a Wellbeing department, shifting sociocultural content to the humanities and strengthening the expectation that students engage deliberately in building skills for personal wellbeing. Engaging key stakeholders along the way to ensure a smooth rollout, we made the transition in mere months, swiftly allowing post-pandemic Pomfret to be even more intentional and authentic in our attention to community wellbeing as fundamental to our mission.
